Quarterlife: DAWN

Quarterlife: DAWN is a performance exploring uncertainty, inner conflict, and transformation during periods of transition in early adulthood.
Developed as the first work of the Quarterlife Series, the piece is inspired by the concept of the Quarter-Life Crisis (QLC). Thirteen performers approach the stage as subjects of observation, revealing anxieties, vulnerabilities, and shifting identities through everyday actions and embodied presence.
Rather than presenting transition as a crisis to be overcome, the work considers it as a shared and ongoing process. Through the interplay of body, sound, light, and space, Quarterlife: DAWN invites audiences to reflect on their own experiences of uncertainty, change, and becoming.

Review
“Rather than trying to understand the work, it felt as though I was breathing at the same pace as the performers, sharing the same sense of suspension."
"What remained with me afterwards was the feeling that time had passed without any answers being given—and that this experience of uncertainty was somehow not mine alone.”
— Mashiro Takahashi, AXUS (Japan)
