Overview

Partitur is an ongoing artistic research project exploring how individuals establish their own existence while building relationships with others through artistic practice.

Inspired by Edmund Husserl’s concept of intersubjectivity, the project investigates how different interpretations, perspectives, and forms of expression can coexist within a shared space. Through experimental approaches using visual scores, performance, and interdisciplinary collaboration, it examines the dynamic relationship between self and others.

Since 2020, Partitur has served as a central methodology within Keisuke Sugawara’s artistic practice, informing a wide range of research-based projects, performances, and collaborative processes.

Rather than seeking consensus, the project embraces difference and explores the possibilities that emerge when multiple subjectivities are allowed to coexist.
